This 1995 Heidelberg Mercury / Tensor press system is a three-tower newspaper web offset line with a 22.75" (578mm) cutoff and 36" web width. Designed for newspaper, coldset, and semi-commercial production, the system includes Mercury 4-high and 2-high towers alongside a 2004 Tensor T400BE 4-high tower to accommodate multi-web printing, color capability, and efficient production speeds.
The line features dual Martin ECP 1338 splicers, an etch/water circulation system, a Heidelberg press control console, and a JF35 folder with ¼-fold capability. This configuration is well suited for newspaper, tabloid, and insert production, offering modular tower flexibility and strong print stability.
